Greater Portland METRO is updating its service standards and would like the public’s input on standards and policies at its March Ridership Committee Meeting, scheduled for Thursday, March 24. The meeting will start at 3 p.m. and take place at the METRO office, located at 114 Valley St. in Portland. The office is accessible by METRO Route #1.

METRO’s service standards are used to guide its planning and improve service. These standards include on-time performance, locations of bus stops/shelters, bus frequency, accessibility and the number of passengers on each bus.

Additional information can be found at METRO’s website, gpmetrobus.com. Please note that meeting dates and times can be subject to change.

As part of a new agreement between the school district and METRO that began in September, Portland Public Schools' high school students use METRO buses to get to and from school and extracurricular activities.
