OAES Math Team Wins Southern Maine Meet

The Ocean Avenue Elementary School (OAES) fifth grade math team came in first place at the Southern Maine Elementary Math Meet on January 17, out of 29 teams competing in the meet.

In the individual competition, OAES student Jean Wriggins came in second place, Michael Randall came in third place and Gabriel Gomez came in fifth.  Other team members included Chauncey Alado, Livia Serappa and Sarah Wriggins.  The team is coached by Peg Hillman.
