OTHER MENUS PROVIDED BY FOOD SERVICES FOR SPECIAL PROGRAMS
USDA Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program provides a morning snack in the class room each Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. This menu will feature local and exotic fruits and vegetable combinations. Since it is offered in the room, teachers can provide support and modeling to encourage students to try new foods and increase consumption of healthy foods. This program operates in Presumpscot, Reiche, Riverton, EECS and West.
Altrusa Portland generously supports the program at West with financial help for the middle and high school students.
