Students in the Portland Public Schools are eligible for discounted fares on Greater Portland Transit District METRO during the 2012/2013 school year.

Students can ride METRO buses for $1 (regular fare is $1.50) throughout the school year using a current student photo ID.   This is the sixth year that METRO has provided discounted bus rides.
