James Shunk, a Portland Public Schools bus driver, recently competed in a statewide bus driving skills competition.   He qualified for the state finals by placing third in a regional skills contest in Berwick.

The state competition took place during the Maine Association for Pupil Transportation’s annual training and safety conference.  Shunk finished fourth out of 18 competitors.
