 More than 40 volunteers from the Portland office of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, the Maine Red Claws and MaineHealth painted murals and built picnic tables, an outdoor chalkboard and room dividers for Presumpscot Elementary School during Harvard Pilgrim Foundation’s annual company-wide day of service on October 19.

"It benefits both schools and local businesses to work together," said Presumpscot Principal Cynthia Loring.  "Our students learn the importance of community service by seeing these people working hard on their behalf, and the businesses learn how their contributions can truly benefit school facilities operating on tight budgets.”
