A public forum about the cleanup work underway at Hall Elementary School will be held on October 4 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Deering High School auditorium.  Hall families and staff are invited to attend and they will have an opportunity to ask questions.

School and city officials and an environmental consultant will be available to address the status of the cleanup, including the projected schedule for remaining activities.  Final environmental testing results will be made public when that abatement work is done.

Workers now are gutting the three rooms and adjoining hall that were directly affected by the fire and dousing from the building’s sprinkler system on September 17.  Hall School has been holding classes at the former Cathedral School on Congress Street since September 25.
