Deering Presents Free Film on Teen Anxiety, Depression

Deering High School is partnering with the Community Counseling Center to present a free showing of “The Road Back,” a dramatic short film made by Maine teens offering hope to young people living and coping with anxiety and depression.

The screening will take place at Deering on October 24 at 6:30 p.m.  After the 30-minute film, there will be a question and answer session with clinicians from Community Counseling Center.  High school students and parents from the Portland Public Schools are invited to attend.  For more information, please call 553-9324.

“The Road Back” was written by youth and filmed in conjunction with  Acadia Hospital and Project AWARE.
